Sustainable home pilot project
projecte à-tic
À-tic project is our beginning: it consists of the project and comprehensive renovation of a flat in Barcelona’s Eixample district in order to transform it into a sustainable dwelling. Indeed, we have reduced energy consumption by 65% and water consumption by 40%. However, beyond the more quantitative aspects, we have created a place that is free from electromagnetic radiation and environmental pollution; in short, a healthy home.
espiralta project
Energy renovation of a single-family dwelling in La Cerdanya
Espiralta project arose in order to renovate a single-family dwelling located in a valley in the Pyrenees and used on weekends which had excessively high energy consumption despite the excellent insulation of the envelope. Among other reasons, the source of this excess consumption was electric underfloor heating.

virreina project
Comprehensive renovation of a flat in Barcelona
Virreina project is a comprehensive renovation of a first-floor flat on one of Gracia’s bustling squares. North-easterly facing and opposite some fine plane trees, it is a cool flat that needs particular care in winter.
This project provided the second opportunity to apply the Niu Green concept to the ultimate extent.
PROJECTE CASA PER LA TEULADA
Comprehensive renovation in Premià

CASA PER LA TEULADAproject
Energy renovation of a single-family dwelling in Cerdanyola
Avenir project arose in order to enhance the energy efficiency of a detached house built in the 1980s. Without even reaching a comfortable temperature, the electric underfloor heating system consumed a huge amount of energy.
Accordingly, the challenge of this project was to adapt the home to new requirements in terms of both aesthetics and comfort, respecting the original project the architect of which is the current owner’s father, now a grandfather.
canyadell project
Energy renovation of a single-family dwelling in El Maresme
Projecte Canyadell stemmed from a swimming pool and a water leak, which was only detected due to the bill. This second home, used occasionally by several family members, involved much havoc when it came to consumption and discomfort.
flandes project
Comprehensive renovation of a flat in El Clot
Flandes project arose in order to transform a dark, damp and neglected flat into a home for a Catalan-Brazilian-Swiss family in the old quarter of El Clot.
Since the owners were unsure for how long the flat would be kept, the biggest challenge was to keep the cost of the intervention under control.
